Pre employment checks.

As part of your safe recruitment process the following checks and information is required prior to a candidate being placed to work with Venday care providers:
Enhanced DBS check (portable preferred)
Job descriptions/Terms & Conditions of Engagement/ Contracts of Employment
Interview Checklist
Proof of identity i.e. Two forms of ID, one which has to be photographic i.e. passport, drivers licence
ID documents with proof of address i.e. utility bill, bank statement etc
Two recent passport size photographs, 1 on ID badge and 1 on individual staff profile
Proof of NI number
Proof of eligibility to live and work in UK (verified by following the Home Office Checklist)
Occupational Health Declaration clearance information and Health Questionnaire which includes immunisation status
References (1 from current or most recent employer. 2 professional references required for staff on a professional register)
5 years employment history with reasons for leaving
Completed Application Form (full with no gaps) to include 5 years employment history with start and end dates of each employment and reasons for leaving
Curriculum Vitae
Proof of mandatory training
Training Analysis/Matrix
Skills & experience Questionnaire
Social Care Certificate or equivalent (if applicable)
NMC Pin verification for nurses
Indemnity (if applicable)
Worker’s Occupational Health clearance information and Health Questionnaire which includes immunisation status
Signed Privacy Statement, Declaration Working Time Regulation & Rehabilitation of Offenders.

Agency Staff

The staff that your organisation will use on the Venday platform must comply with the below.
Be currently working within a care setting or have experience of working in a care setting within the last 6 months
Have a minimum of 6 months experience of working within a care setting
Registered Nurses must have a minimum of 1 year post registration experience
Have a full, clean Drivers License with their own form of reliable transport
Hold an Enhanced DBS Check
Social Care Certificate or equivalent (if applicable)
ID badge with name of agency/name of staff member/issue date
Adhere to agency dress code
Be up to date with mandatory Training and be able to show evidence of this i.e. details of approved training provider, dates of training, type of training & certificates
